13 Oakengates swimmers were back in Wolverhampton over two days last weekend to compete in the Brierley Hill Open. There were five new Midland District Qualifying times set; Alex Hooper 200 BK & 400 FC, Gemma Rawlings 100 BK, Brett Thompson 100 Fly and Sam Adamson 200 FC. Sam also bettered his 200 IM time set two weeks ago.

There were first places for Alex - 400 FC, Samantha Marshall - 50 Fly and Brett 50 & 100 Fly; second places for Alex - 200 BK, Gemma Woolley - 200 Fly & 400 FC, Victoria Reilley - 200 BR and Oliver Freeman - 200 Fly; third places for Gemma Rawlings - 200 BK and Victoria - 100 BR. In all there were 17 PB's on the day. If Brierley Hill post a complete set of results I'll add a link. Well done to all who swam!
